    • The Technology

      Super-sized anechoic chamber

      An anechoic chamber is a room without echo. It absorbs all reflections of sound that would occur in a typical room, simulating a free-field environment. Every product we make is tested inside of our state-of-the-art anechoic chamber so we can detect and correct any possible flaws. The reason we go to these obsessive lengths is to ensure the music sounds absolutely perfect when it reaches your ears.

      Mean Opinion Scoring Room

      We know that not everything can be left to science. That's why our most rigorous tests are conducted by real people who objectively judge the sound of speakers, ease of use, comfort, and durability, with their own ears via blind tests. Only the designs that receive the highest ratings in this test are worthy of becoming Logitech UE products.

    • Laser measurement system

      Our anechoic chamber also features a laser measurement system that can determine the precise movements of the cones, suspension, frames, and other parts of the speakers. With exact measurments, we can more easily build products that sound exactly as they were intended, without flaws or distortions.

      Testing audio and wireless in an urban environment

      Environments for audio devices are particularly intense today. This is because electromagnetic waves produced by mobile phones and Wi-Fi are constantly creating noise that can affect audio. To address these interferences, we created a room that mimicks the effects of an urban setting. By rigorously testing in this room, we can create audio and wireless products that produce great sound wherever you want to take them.
